In a historic achievement for regional economic cooperation and diplomacy, Pakistan and Türkiye signed 24 historic agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) officially at the 7th Session of the Pakistan-Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Islamabad.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presided over the signing ceremony, whichconcluded in a Joint Declaration on Deepening, Diversifying, and Institutionalizing the Strategic Partnership. The agreement signifies a new chapter in bilateral relations, characterized by enhancedcooperation in priority areas.

Trade and Industry: Three MoUs are to promote digitalization of trade, enhance industrial property cooperation, and enhance industrial productivity.

Science and Education: Bilateral partnership was essential with MoUs on scientific education and educational infrastructure.
Finance and Banking: Central banks of both nations formalized cooperation pacts to simplify cross-border transactions and strengthen monetary ties.
Cultural & Media Relations: Agreements included audiovisual coproduction, cultural collaboration, and public relations.
Legal, Health, and Halal Food Industries: Additional MoUs were signed to promote cooperation in religious education, legal affairs, healthcare, and halal food certification.
Aerospace Industry: A fresh accord was signed to promote aerospace research and development among the two countries' institutions.
