The Cer Istanbul project is Ege Yapı's new development to be realized in the Yedikule district. Comprising 125 residential units, the Cer Istanbul project will also feature 23 commercial spaces. Offering housing options ranging from 1+1 to 6+1, the project presents residences with sizes spanning from 63 square meters to 348 square meters. The project will be constructed on a 41,000-square-meter plot.
Under the campaign for the Cer Istanbul project, where the down payment will be made upon delivery, the advantage of starting installments in 2022 is provided. In this campaign, a 10% reservation fee is taken at the time of contract signing, while the 40% down payment is paid upon delivery. Ege Yapı offers a 48-month interest-free installment plan for the remaining amount, with the first 12 months being payment-free, through its in-house financing model. For those wishing to become residential owners in the project, where installment payments begin from the 13th month, a 20% discount is available for upfront purchases.
Ege Yapı is adding another prestigious project to its portfolio. Named Cer Istanbul, this new project will be realized in the Yedikule district with mixed-use units and constructed on a 41,000-square-meter area. Located within the historic peninsula, the project aims to carry historical structures into the future. Inspired by the historic Cer Workshops, the Cer Istanbul project will consist of 10 blocks. Designed as a low-rise project to harmonize with the city's skyline, Cer Istanbul will feature ground floors with an additional 3 stories, reaching a height of 12 meters. The project will include 125 residential units and 23 commercial spaces. Housing options in Cer Istanbul range from 1+1 apartments starting at 99 square meters gross (65 square meters net) to 2+1 apartments measuring 174 square meters gross (135 square meters net). The structures within the project will be restored to leave a legacy for the future, repurposed as offices and hotels. Cer Istanbul will feature social activity areas and facilities catering to every need, with historical elements from the old Cer Workshops displayed in an open-air exhibition concept. Deliveries are planned for April 2020. Located near the Yedikule Dungeons and Yedikule Animal Shelter, the Cer Istanbul project is situated opposite the Yedikule Gasworks Building.
H. İnanç Kabadayı, Chairman of the Board of Ege Yapı, stated that they approached the Cer Istanbul Project, the third phase of their three-year investment plan, as a gift to the city, akin to a work of art:
"As Ege Yapı, we are delighted to announce Cer Istanbul as the third link in our 2.5 billion TL investment chain. This special project, developed in collaboration with Emlak Konut GYO, is located in Yedikule, one of the most historic settlements in Istanbul's Fatih district within the Historic Peninsula. The Historic Peninsula has always been a center where life and commerce intertwine, renowned for its beauty, location, dynamism, legends, old Istanbul tolerance, neighborly culture, and countless other features. We take pride in revitalizing the Cer Workshops, where railway vehicle maintenance and repair activities have been conducted since 1871 in Yedikule, and gifting this industrial and cultural heritage to Istanbul with the assurance of Emlak Konut GYO and the distinction of Ege Yapı. With Cer Istanbul, we embrace a history passed down through generations, offering a privileged lifestyle within history and a valuable investment opportunity.
Murat Kurum, General Manager of Emlak Konut Real Estate Investment Partnership, shared the following about the Cer Istanbul project, developed in collaboration with Ege Yapı: "The Historic Peninsula, which had the honor of being the capital of the Ottoman Empire, became a center of science and art, especially after the conquest of Istanbul, leaving behind many immortal works. Today, we can still feel the ancient traces from that era in the Historic Peninsula. With Cer Istanbul, we aim to present a work that integrates our historical heritage with modern aesthetics, as Istanbul deserves. With its independent units, hotel, and commercial spaces, Cer Istanbul appeals to everyone from single-person households to large families."
